Steven Iwersen has been a professional speaker for more than 27 years and has been in active leadership roles since 1981. He is a Keynote Speaker that breaks through the usual with the unexpected, inspires and involves the audience, and creates breakthrough insights. He is also an entertainer. He is a vocalist with a Big Band, singing the standards from the Sinatra era.

Steven is the author of Chasing Porcupines: How To Lead Prickly People and President of Aurora Pointe LLC, a speaking and leadership development firm. He teaches audiences how to gain focus on the essentials that create greater personal potential and a positive influence on others. He speaks at conventions, conferences and in private training events for non-profit and corporate clients. His audiences have included leaders from the FBI, Jet Propulsion Labs, NY/NJ Port Authority, Hallmark, Kenworth, and more.

He is a professional member of the National Speakers Association; and is the Past President of the NSA-Heartland Chapter.  He is currently serving the association as a Chapter Leadership Consultant.

Steven is the proud dad of three boys and now a grandpa to four adorable little girls. He lives in the Kansas City area with his wife, Brandy, where they enjoy great Jazz music and the world’s best BBQ.
