Steven Iwersen has been a professional speaker for more than 30 years and has been in active leadership roles since 1981. He is the author of Chasing Porcupines: How To Lead Prickly People
Steven Iwersen is the founder and owner of Aurora Pointe, LLC, an international speaking and leadership development firm. As a Keynote speaker and leadership specialist, he has spoken to over 500 audiences during the last 10 years on the subject of creating a leadership culture. His expertise is in leading people and organizations through change. Clients and audience members consistently say that his presentations were not simply entertaining, but some of the most meaningful and practical sessions – because of his fun conversational style and ability to connect real issues to practical ideas.
He is a Master Story teller that inspires and involves the audience. He is also an entertainer. He is a vocalist with a Big Band, singing the standards from the Sinatra era.

Steven is the proud dad of three boys and now a grandpa to six adorable little girls and 2 grandsons! He lives in the Kansas City area with his wife, Brandy, where they enjoy great Jazz music and the world’s best BBQ.
